The Hayter Harrier 56 has been in Hayter’s range for many years and the latest Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive ES VS InStart incorporates all of Hayter’s experience in manufacturing top quality mowers and combines that experience with the latest design techniques and input from end users and dealers. The Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive ES VS InStart has a 22” (56cm) width of cut and is packed with features that will make cutting your grass a joy.

Push-Button Start – The Hayter Harrier 56 ES VS InStart is fitted with Briggs & Stratton’s InStart system. InStart is a revolution in the electric starting of mower engines and features a lithium-ion battery fitted to the top of the engine which provides power for over fifty engine starts. Simply push a button to start the engine. When it is time to recharge (charger provided) a one hour charge is all that is needed. A ten minute ‘quick charge’ will recharge the battery sufficient for more than ten starts.

Split Rear Roller – The rear roller on the Hayter Harrier 56 will give that classic striped finish to your lawn. The roller is split allowing each half to rotate independently which makes for easier turning and avoids the marks on the lawn that can be left by single piece rollers.

Sens-A-Speed Variable Speed Drive – VS in the model name means Variable Speed. The Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive ES VS InStart mower is self-propelled and the speed is matched to your walking pace by the Sens-A-Speed system.  The mower’s drive speed can be altered independently of the engine speed which means that the engine can run at full speed to generate the maximum airflow for collecting the grass clippings but the forward walking speed can be altered to suit the operator and cutting conditions.

Vari-Pitch – The latest Hayter Harrier 56 range features Vari-Pitch cutting technology that automatically adjusts the forward-pitch angle of the cutter deck as the height of cut is raised or lowered, increasing airflow in more difficult conditions to ensure efficient grass collection.

Single Lever Height of Cut Adjustment – Adjusting the height of cut on your Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive ES VS InStart is simple. The height of cut is changed using a single lever.

Superior Cut and Collection – Using aerospace technology, the design of the blade and the cutter deck have been optimised to pack the grass clippings into the 70 litre grass bag. When the grass bag is full, it simply lifts through the handles for easy emptying.

Trim Side – The Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive ES VS InStart features Hayter’s Trim Side which allows you to cut right to the edge of your lawn. On one side, the wheel, cutter blade and rear roller are positioned in-line allowing easy mowing around borders, raised flower beds and retaining walls, reducing the need to trim around the lawn after mowing.

Aluminium Cutter Deck – For maximum strength and durability, the Hayter Harrier 56 uses an aluminium cutter deck.

Wash Port – Keeping your new Hayter Harrier 56 clean is easy thanks to the wash port integrated into the cutter deck. Simply plug in the hose, switch the water on and start the engine to clean the underside of the cutter deck.

Soft-Grip Handle – The soft-grip handle ensures your comfort whilst operating the mower.

Briggs & Stratton Engine – A reliable Briggs & Stratton engine is fitted to the Hayter Harrier 56 Autodrive ES VS InStart. The engine features Briggs & Stratton’s Readystart system which ensures that the choke is always correctly set for easy starting.
