In Stihl’s range of homeowner chainsaws, the MS211 is mid-range and is popular amongst homeowners who want a little more power and performance for cutting firewood and felling small trees.

The Stihl MS211 has a modern design and uses an economical Stihl 2-MIX engine. The 35.2cc engine generates 1.7kW / 2.3hp which gives good mid-range homeowner performance.

The MS211’s engine is fitted with a compensator to ensure that the engine keeps running at peak performance even when the air filter starts to get dirty. The MS211 also features Stihl’s long-life air filter system to ensure maximum life from the air filter. When it is time for a spot of maintenance, the top cover is easy to remove without the need for tools.

Adding chain oil and fuel is very quick and easy with Stihl’s quick release tank caps.

Chain tensioning is achieved on the Stihl MS211 by loosening just a single nut (combination tool provided) and using the side chain tensioner which keeps your hands away from the chain whilst turning the adjuster.

The Stihl MS211 is available with a 14” (35cm) or 16” (40cm) guide bar. Please note, cutting length will always be a little shorter than the bar length because of the way guide bars are measured. The difference between the guide bar length and cutting length varies by chainsaw model.
